Monster-fighting game in a puzzle format

Kaiju Attack 2 is a premium strategy game from Game Stew. Step into the boots of the commander of human forces, tasked with defending Earth from various monsters. It follows a strategic puzzle gameplay, with the city laid out in a six-by-six grid. You organize the city by swapping tiles and combining them to improve their capabilities and resources.

Compared to its predecessor, Kaiju Attack, Kaiju Attack 2 features a wider board and more intense battles on top of a host of new content. Be warned though, that the AI has been revamped for a more challenging gameplay.

Brace yourself for another Kaiju attack

In Kaiju Attack 2, Chaos plans to take revenge on Earth following their defeat two years ago. He has gathered a new coalition of Kaiju, this time including a hero who once fought on the humans’ side. As the commander, you will return to your station, navigate the new wave of monster attacks, and ensure humanity’s survival. This offers a continuation of the first game’s storyline.

As mentioned, this retains a similar gameplay concept. You swap tiles to protect people and buildings while moving vehicles, tanks, and other weapons to defeat the monster. The Kaiju also moves along the board, affecting their moves and attacks. As mentioned, this features a wider six-by-six grid, plus a new piece with the currency tile. Also to help you, there are a couple of new secret weapons and robots.

The original game already imposed a steep learning curve that only gets more challenging as you go on — the same can be expected in this sequel. Combine this with the revamped monster AI, and you have more unpredictable gameplay. Without the proper understanding of the game mechanics, most rounds will appear chance-based. Once you get the hang of it, it becomes addictive.

An equally challenging and enjoyable sequel

Kaiju Attack 2 elevates the thrill with Chaos's return and a new Kaiju coalition. As commander, you’ll strategize to protect humanity on an expanded six-by-six grid, leveraging new weapons and currency tiles. While the steep learning curve and unpredictable AI challenge players, mastering the mechanics promises an addictive experience. Prepare for a gripping continuation of the Kaiju saga, demanding tactical prowess and swift decision-making to secure Earth’s survival.
